Navigating around Paradise Group Rewards

Updated: Jul 26

Everyone in Singapore should have heard of the Paradise Group after their annual dinner event last year where long serving staff were given Rolexes and gold bars. But how well do they really know the group?

Here are all the brands that belong to the group and yes, you probably seen at least one of their brands in most, if not all, shopping malls in Singapore.

So 3 reasons why I love eating at their brands:

  • Ability to use Kris+

  • Stack with the Paradise Group Membership

  • Pretty wallet friendly (with the exception of Taste Paradise)

The former is clear - Kris+ is accepted in all of their brand outlets and you get 3 MPD (it used to be 6 MPD).

If you still do not have a Kris+ account, Use Promo Code O597545 to get $5 rebate off your first transaction!

tl;dr:

  • Get 10% rebate in points on your ala-carte spend (yes that means not set meals, buffet sets) at all Paradise Group brands except the following:

*Canton Paradise Noodle & Congee House

  • 20% rebate when it is your birthday month

  • 1st year membership is free and renewal for subsequent is a no-brainer $3.90

So when you are settling for the bill, inform the staff that you are a member, whip out your phone Paradise Group app and scan your QR code

The app allows you to track your points activity and they also have the option for you to make a reservation at some of their brands via inline on the app!

The next question from the staff is: 你好累计分数还是扣掉分数?(do you want to accumulate your points or use your points to offset your bill?)

Cheat sheet on when to use what:

  1. If you are dining at any of the brands except the above 4 that doesn't allow accumulation of points, ALWAYS accumulate points from your bill.

  2. When you are dining at the above 4 brands, deduct your points to offset your bill.

So why?

When you use points to offset your bill, you do not get any more rebates for the remaining bill. Imagine if you have a $100 bill with existing $20 points in your app. Offsetting it means you only pay $80 but you do not get any rebates from this (i.e. your opportunity cost is $8).

Offset your points when dining in those 4 brands because you do not get rebates from your original bill anyway.

You can also choose to offset enough points so that you only pay $20 off your bill. Why $20? Most shopping malls (CapitaLand, Far East) allows you to accumulate points by scanning the receipt but with a minimum bill of $20.

Again, whatever remaining bill you have - remember to use Kris+.
